Donegal cruise into another Ulster final

Donegal cruised into their consecutive Ulster football final after an impressive 1-22 to 0-13 win against Armagh at Kingspan Breffni.

In a dominant display, Declan Bonner’s side did the main damage in the opening half as, with the wind at their backs, they established a 1-12 to 0-3 half-time lead with St Naul’s Peadar Mogan scoring the Donegal goal and producing a man-of-the-match performance.

The expected Armagh rally in the second-half never materialised as they were second-best to a hungry Donegal side in almost every facet of the game.

The game also marked the return to action of Kilcar’s Paddy McBrearty, who was introduced as a second-half substitute. He fisted a point straight over the bar with his first touch of the game.

13 different Donegal players got on the scoresheet in this semi-final, such was their dominance.

Donegal now await the winners of Sunday’s second semi-final between Cavan and Down.

The Ulster final will be played on Sunday, November 22nd.
