The annual IT Sligo Science Festival is going online this year and runs until Sunday the 15th of November.
The annual festival normally attracts thousands of visitors to IT Sligo but due to Covid-19 restrictions, a new approach was needed this year.
Several of the leading authorities on the Covid-19 pandemic will be among the guests; Dr Mike Ryan from the World Health Organisation and Professor Luke O’Neill from Trinity College in Dublin are among those giving talks during the eight days of the festival.
Todays schedule is running from 12pm until 5pm with all information is available on sligosciencefestival.ie.
