Gardai have been contacted following an alleged abduction attempt of the children of a traveller family in Sligo yesterday morning. Sligo Traveller Support Group spokesperson Bernadette Maughan insists it was a serious incident, and follows on from other such abduction attempts across the country in recent weeks
