Primary care centres for Grange, Drumcliffe

Works on what the HSE describes as a ‘hub and spoke’ solution to the care needs of people in north Sligo is expected to be completed next year.

A Primary Care Centre is to be built in Grange while a smaller centre will be constructed in Drumcliff; both to be overseen by one medical team.

Contracts have been signed for the Drumcliff site while it’s expected contracts will be signed for the Grange site in early December.

Local Fianna Fail Councillor, Donal Gilroy, a member of the HSE Regional Health Forum West, says the centres will provide a wide range of much needed services in the north Sligo region.
