A wind warning for Co. Donegal comes into effect from 10 pm tonight.
The Status Yellow warning covers Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Clare and Kerry and will remain until 7am Saturday.
Met Eireann are predicting mean speed of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of upto 110km/h
There is a warning that winds speeds may be higher in coastal areas
