Golf courses around the country will be closed from midnight.
The Golfing Union of Ireland and Ladies Golf Ireland jointly confirmed the news on Wednesday evening.
They were informed by Sport Ireland today that they must comply with Level 5 coronavirus restrictions being introduced tonight.
They’re seeking clarity on driving ranges and practice facilities.
