INTO express concern in relation to class sizes during Covid pandemic



The INTO have called on the Department of Education to engage in a more open process in the planning and preparation in the continued running of school during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The Teachers Union have sought resources and support to ensure that schools remain open in safe manner.

 

They now say it is imperative that when significant decisions are being made that the education stakeholders are consulted to help manage any potential disruption to primary schools.

 

Aine McGinley is the Donegal/Leitrim representative on the central executive of the INTO she says class sizes in Irish schools are a concern during the Covid-19 pandemic.
