Leitrim can be used as example in curtailing Covid spread



The Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council says that Leitrim can be used as an example when it comes to showing that if the right precautions are taken the spread of Covid-19 can be curtailed.

Despite clusters of Covid-19 cases in September the County of Leitrim has noticed a reduction in the number of cases of the Coronavirus again in recent days.

Drumkeerin Fianna Councillor is the Cathaoirleach of the local authority she says the sacrifices made by Leitrim residents is paying off.

Although like all other Counties Leitrim is currently under level 3 restrictions, Cllr Bohan feels that residents of the County should make the most of local attractions

 

The Fianna Fail Councillor is also acutely aware of the challenges facing local business at present and she has issued this appeal to all local residents to row in behind the their local businesses for the next three weeks.
