Peter Filan, Carlton Lodge’, Carrowroe, Sligo, formerly of Carlton Café, Castle Street, Sligo and Castleplunkett, Co Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection in St. John’s Church, Carraroe, Sligo, today at 1pm. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions on attendance, the Funeral Mass will be limited to family only. Stanley Simpson, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Remains reposing at his late residence, with removal to St. Aidan’s Church, Kinlough, this morning for 11am Requiem mass. Burial afterwards in St. Aidan’s Cemetery, Kinlough. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation, C/o Gilmartin undertakers or any family member.  Patrick (Paddy) Sweeney, Tullynascreena, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Leaving his home on this morning for funeral mass in Killenummery church at 11am,  followed by burial in Carrowcrin Cemetery. Betty Callaghan, née Crawley, Jinks Avenue, Sligo. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo today for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery after. Vera Mott (nee Rogers), Chichester, U.K. and formerly Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Predeceased by her husband Bert, her brother, Alphonsus (Fonso), Ballymote, and her sister, Stasia, East Wittering, U.K. Requiem Mass in St. Richard’s Church (Cawley Road, Chichester PO19 1XB) on Wednesday, October 7th, at 10am. Burial afterwards in Chichester Portfield Cemetery (Church Rd, Chichester PO19 7HN). Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Wilfrid’s Hospice, care of Reynolds Funeral Directors or any family member.

Funeral will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Strandhill on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at   10:00am  followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
