Covid restrictions hit Sligo/Dublin train services

Covid-19 restrictions have hit train services on the Sligo/Dublin line on which two trains have been cancelled for all of this week.

The 4pm and 4.55pm trains have been cancelled by Iarnród Éireann due to some staff needing to self isolate because of the virus.

The 4pm and 4.30pm services were cancelled only hours before they were due to depart on Sunday.

The rail company’s corporate communications manager, Barry Kenny, doesn’t expect there to be any further alterations.
