A new pop-up Covid-19 testing centre is open in Donegal Town from today.
It’s based at the Cleary Centre on the Ballybofey Road and is offering free tests aiming to increase capacity by 150 tests per day, running in conjunction with St. Conal’s Campus, Letterkenny.
248 new cases were confirmed yesterday; 37 in Donegal.
In the overall area of CH01 which encompasses Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan and Monaghan, the 97% of people are being offered same or next day appointments.
Nearly 580 tests conducted in Donegal alone over the last few days.
