Donegal senior football final postponed



This Sunday’s Donegal senior football final between holders Naomh Conaill and Kilcar has been postponed following a postitive Covid test in the Kilcar club.

The final has been provisionally refixed for next Wednesday week, October 7th, at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

The Kilcar club confirmed on Monday that one of its players, had recorded a positive test.

As it stands, Saturday’s Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure intermediate final between Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon, and Cloughneely is going ahead in Ballybofey at 4pm – as are the junior championsihp semi-final and senior relegation play-off this weekend.

However, Donegal GAA has signalled that there is a doubt over one of these games going ahead.

It’s understood a decision on the game in question will be made in the next 48 hours.

Saturday’s intermediate football final between Aodh Ruadh and Cloughaneely will be live on Saturday Sportsbeat on Ocean FM from 4pm, in association with Seán Óg’s Bar, Ballyshannon.
