Sligo Rovers secure funding for new club masterplan



Sligo Rovers have been granted substantial funding to develop a new masterplan for the club by the end of the year.

Yesterday they announced the LEADER programme will go towards improving all aspects of the football club.

The grant is understood to be a five-figure sum and will cover the majority of funding needed for the masterplan.

There were 12 applications for the development with Rhatigan Architects winning the tender.

Rhatigan Architects have seen out masterplans like IT Sligo and Ballyhaise Agricultural College in the past as well as other sports facilities like the Sligo racecourse.
