Peter Cornyn, Corlisbannon, Dowra, Co. Cavan. Funeral mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra today at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to government guidelines on Covid 19, funeral will be private to family only. Anyone wishing to convey their sympathies can do so in Doobally church car park keeping a distance of 2 metres and no hand shaking. Condolences can be left on rip.ie

 

Irene Holland, Market Street, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal. Peacefully at The Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon. Funeral mass at 11 am in St. Patrick’s Church in Ballyshannon this morning, with burial after in the Abbey Cemetery. Due to government guidelines and Covid-19 restrictions, the house and funeral are private to family only.  Funeral mass will be streamed live on Churchservicestv/stpatricksballyshannon. Denis Mc Gowan, Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at St Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. In line with HSE guidelines, Denis’s funeral will be held in private. A memorial Mass to celebrate Denis’s life will take place at a later date. You can leave a personal message of condolence on rip.ie

 

Gabriel McSharry, The Blennicks, Rosses Point, Sligo, Veterinary Surgeon. Suddenly. Remains reposing at the residence of his son and daughter-in-law Tom and Louise  McSharry, Ballincar Heights, F91 HP40, this afternoon from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 12 noon, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo, followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, the Funeral Mass will be for family and close friends only. People are asked to please refrain from handshaking and hugging. Annie (Nan) Gorman (née Lennon), Main Street, Gurteen, Co. Sligo and formerly of Fauleens, Monasteraden. Peacefully, in her 101st year, in the Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen. Reposing at St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, this evening from 5:30pm until 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery.  Mask-wearing and no handshaking in the church please. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, Annie’s funeral will take place privately to family, neighbours and close friends only.  A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be offered at a later date. Sligo on Friday at 1pm, followed by burial in St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney. Due to current restrictions the Funeral Mass will be for family and close friends only. Kathleen (Kay) Rynn (née Mullan), Druminalass House, Ballinaglera, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Reposing at her home, today from 6pm to 9pm, and Friday from 4pm to 9pm. Private family funeral on Saturday, at 12pm in St. Hugh’s Church, Ballinaglera, and burial afterwards at Fahy Cemetery. A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message in the section ‘Condolences’ of www.rip.ie. A Mass of Remembrance will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank you for your cooperation and understanding at this difficult time.
