Removal from his residence this morning to St. Bridget’s Church, Ballintra, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Edward [Eddie] McCaffrey Assaroe Road, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at his residence. Remains will repose today from 3pm until 8pm for family, friends and staff only, with removal on Wednesday to arrive in St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Due to the current Covid-19 guidelines, house, funeral mass and burial are private to family and friends only. Due to the death of Managing Director Edward McCaffrey [Senior], Patrick McCaffrey and Sons Ltd Quarry will be closed until Thursday 10th September.
Nora Cavanagh, (nee Cuffe), Finod, Easkey, Co. Sligo. Remains reposing at her home, for family and close friends, this evening from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral cortege will leave her home on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, arriving at St James’s Church, Easkey for 11:30am. Funeral Mass followed by burial in Roslea, Cemetery, Easkey Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Patients Comfort Fund of Sligo University Hospital, C/o Gerard Clarke & Sons Funeral Directors, Ballisodare, Co. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, to arrive for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Columba’s Cemetery. Removal to St Patrick’s Church, Calry on Wednesday to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery. Due to government directives and HSE guidelines the house and church will be restricted to family and friends. Anyone wishing to offer their condolences can do so on rip.ie.
