Search continues for service provider to run Crèche in Collooney

It’s emerged today that the incoming tenants for the Crèche in Collooney has pulled out of the project.

This now means the owners of the premises are currently looking for new tenants to take over the running of the facility.

This latest development will come as a major disappointment for the 75 families that were intending to send children to the centre in Collooney as many parents return to work after the easing of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Sligo Drumcliff Councillor Thomas Healy has worked extensively on the project, he says it’s disappointing news for the families that are impacted and for those employed at the centre in Collooney.
