Preventing Covid: Lack of space a challenge in some north west primary schools



Lack of space has been one of the main challenges for primary schools as they welcome pupils back after more than five months.

Adhering to Covid-19 requirements also necessitated major works for schools to ensure they comply with measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

Vincent Duffy is the regional Irish National School Teachers Organisation representative for Sligo and Mayo.

He has been telling Ocean FM News about the main concerns for schools as they embark on a new school year.
