Carbury FC clinch fourth league title in a row

Carbury FC are celebrating their fourth consecutive Sligo Leitrim Southern Hotel Super League title after  a 4-2 win against Cliffoney Celtic at Mullaghmore on Sunday morning.

The win moved Carbury two clear of Manor Rangers (who have finished their season) at the top of the table. Carbury’s outstanding game against Ballisodare has been declared a draw.

Team captain Neil McKenna, striker Gareth Kelly and joint-manager John Feeney spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan pitchside, following Sunday’s win:

The success makes up for last weekend’s Connacht Junior Cup quarter-final exit against West United of Galway.
