The local authority in Donegal have commenced work on the ‘Boat Quay’ area of Bundoran this morning.
The recent heavy rain led to a landslide which caused damage to the facility which is used by local fishermen, surfers and the RNLI.
Local Sinn Fein Councillor, Cllr Michael McMahon has welcomed the commencing of the works and has warned the general public of the dangers that currently exist at the site.
