Challenging times ahead for Arigna Mining Experience

One of the local region’s leading tourist attractions has warned of possible job losses due to the reduced visitors and increased costs associated with Covid-19.

Valerie Stenson, the manager of the Arigna Experience has issued the warning in light of challenges that are facing the popular tourist attraction.

The Arigna mining experience will re-open later this month, however all overseas business has gone for 2020 and the centre will have to operate at 20% less than it’s normal capacity.

The popular Santa Grotto is also unlikely to run this year due to social distancing regulation.

Valerie Stenson has been outlining some of the challenges facing tourist attractions in the new normal.
