Elected representatives and grass root members from Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are engaging in talks with an alternative political party with a view to jumping ship.
That’s according to the leader Aontú, Peadar Tóibín.
Deputy Tóibín who founded Aontú after defecting from Sinn Fein says that disillusioned north west members of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have been in contact with his party since the formation of the new government on Saturday. Many are though to be left frustrated with the lack of ministers from the entire north west region.
Speaking to earlier to Ocean FM News, Peadar Tóibín says there are a number of reason why members of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael are unhappy.
