Sligo Leitrim soccer leagues to re-start on July 18th



The Sligo Leitrim District Soccer League will resume its junior soccer league activity on July 18th.

The League has got approval from the Connacht Football Association to complete the current league camapign.

The season will continue until mid-September.

There are key Super League and Premier League title, promotion and relegation issues to be determined

Cup competitions are scheduled to resume from the weekend of July 26th.

The FAI confirmed on Friday night that it had approved a new Safer Return to Football Pathway that will see Adult Amateur and Underage football permitted to return to full-contact training, including training games between teams from the same club, from June 29th and authorised to make a full return to playing friendly games from July 11th and competitive matches from July 18th.
