Local Restaurateur predicts for an un-certain future



It’s feared that a large number of restaurants are in danger of closing right across the North West over the next two months.

 

The Restaurants Association of Ireland has also expressed fears that 120,000 jobs could be lost in the hospitality sector nationwide.

 

To prevent a collapse of the industry, calls are being made on the government to scrap VAT for 12 months and write off commercial rates.
