Donegal Councillor urges holiday home owners to stay away



A Donegal Councillor is calling on owners of holiday homes and second homes to stay away from the county this weekend.

 

The Government have clarified that  “essential travel” does not include visits to second homes, and have urged people to remain in their primary residence.

 

Independent Donegal MD Councillor Niamh Kennedy has urged those that were thinking of visiting the North West not to so and save lives in the process.

 

Cllr Kennedy says it will be difficult for those that usually travel home for the weekend to stay away over the Easter Break:
