Aodhán Ó Riordáin or Alan Kelly will be elected as the leader of the Labour Party this evening.
Counting is expected to begin this afternoon, when An Post delivers the last postal ballots to the offices of accountancy firm Mazars in Dublin.
Former Local and General election candidate for the Labour Party in the North West, Nessa Cosgrove expects Alan Kelly to be elected as the new party leader and says the party have a major decision to make on whether or not they play a part in the formation of the next government .
