The decision taken by An Post to use its mail network across the North West to ensure older people have access to food and medicines has been welcomed.
Independent TD Denis Naughten TD had requested An Post to make their facilities across the counties of Sligo Leitrim and Donegal available to older people that need access to essential supplies.
Deputy Naughten says there are number of items that can be delivered by the staff from An Post which would also help to keep local businesses open.
