A COVID-19 GP member apologises to patients as tests are cancelled



A member of the COVID-19 GP group has apologised to patients who have had their coronavirus test cancelled.

It comes after new measure where announced yesterday that you now have to display two major symptoms – a fever and either a cough or shortness of breath – and fall into a priority group in order to be tested.

The annoucement came after the HSE have been overwhelmed with tests over the last number of days.
