Ireland needs to be on lockdown – Kenny



A Sligo Leitrim TD has called for the Republic of Ireland to follow the UK and consider a lockdown of all non-essential services, in order to try and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Deputy Martin Kenny says that as long as places of work remain open such as construction sites, there is still a strong possibility that the Coronavirus could continue to spread.

The Sinn Fein TD says Ireland needs to take these precautions due to what has happened in Italy over the past month:
