Aurivo have confirmed that they are suspending livestock sales from next Monday 23rd March until at least the end of March.
Aurivo Marts say the decision has been made in light of Covid-19 outbreak, and will be reviewed in due course.
The last sales will take place in Ballymote and Mohill Marts on Saturday next and both sales will proceed under strict protocols.
The company also run marts in Balla and Ballinrobe in County Mayo and both of these branches are also suspending sales.
Only customers with business to conduct should attend the sales on Saturday, and no children will be allowed entry
