Three cases of Covid-19 confirmed in the north west



3 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the north west.

The HSE also confirmed an elderly man in the east with underlying health conditions has died from the virus bringing the total deaths in the country to 2.

39 new cases were confirmed nationally meaning there are now 129 confirmed cases in the Republic.

While the Health Minister, Simon Harris, says it’s an “insult” to doctors and nurses tackling the coronavirus outbreak that people are still gathering in large numbers in pubs.

HSE Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, says we all need to make sure we’re following the advice:
