Tributes paid to Donegal crash victim



The man who lost his life following a road traffic accident in Donegal yesterday has been named locally as James Connolly.

 

The 28 year old died following a crash on Tuesday night.

The father of one, originally from Cork has been living recently in Co Fermanagh and had also worked and lived in Donegal.

 

Mr Connolly was pronounced dead at the scene of the two vehicle collision on the N15 at Laheen between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town.

 

A woman, two children and another man were also in the car at the time of the fatal crash.

 

Donegal Councillor Michael McMahon paid tribute to the emergency services that attended the scene of the accident and says the death of James Connolly has led to widespread to shock in the region.
