Four cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the West of Ireland.
Four people from the same family in Co Clare tested positive for Covid 19 after returning from Northern Italy.
The two males and two females are the first cluster here and they are now being treated in isolation in hospital.
They have all travelled here from an affected area, and did not contract the virus from someone else here, as happened in several cases in the UK.
Professor Sam McConkey, from the RCSI, says if that happens here, we will have to ramp up our social response to contain the virus.
