Maura Meade, née Garvey, Warren Crescent, Kevinsfort, Sligo. Mass of the Resurrection in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 2pm this afternoon. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Home private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Sligo Cathedral Restoration Fund, c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.

Christy Coghlan, Drumdoe, Corrigeenroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Suddenly, at his home, in his 92nd year. Reposing at his home. Removal to St. Teresa’s Church, Corrigeenroe, this evening arriving at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Aughanagh Cemetery, Ballinafad.

 

Jimmy Duffy, 2 Holywell Park, Belcoo. Peacefully, at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. Remains reposing at the home of his sister, Mary McHugh and husband Kevin, 8 Devenish Church Road, Monea today. Removal on Tuesday at 10am to St. Patrick’s Church, Holywell, Belcoo for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Cashel.

 

Des Braiden, 4 An Ross, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim and formerly of Glencar, Co Leitrim. Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton on Tuesday from 1pm to 2.30pm,  with removal to Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan for cremation at 4pm.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice, C/o Murphy and Fox Funeral Directors, Manorhamilton.

Sr. Anna Joyce, Wexford, and formerly of Sisters of St. John of God, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Predeceased by her brother Patsy, and survived by her sisters Sr Teresa, Australia; Celia, Australia; Josephine, Missouri; brothers John, Castlebar, and Tom, UK. Mass in the Chapel, Sallyville House, Newtown Road, Wexford, on Tuesday at 11am, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, to arrive at 6pm approx. Requiem Mass in Ballymote on Wednesday at 12noon, followed by burial in St. Columba’s cemetery, Ballymote.

 

Maura Healy (nee Morrow), Carrownurlar, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo. Peaefully at her residence. Wife of Paddy Healy, formerly of Drumcliffe, Co. Sligo. Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Tuesday from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnor. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning at 11am, with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The National Council for the Blind, Care of McGowan’s funeral directors.
