A teenage boy has been arrested in Co. Donegal after a 54 hour stand off with Gardaí.
At around 5.45pm on Wednesday, Letterkenny Gardaí responded to a domestic incident at a private dwelling where it was discovered the teenager had barricaded himself into the house with a shotgun and ammunition.
The incident was resolved at 12.30am last night after Garda negotiators, Emergency Response Units along with psychiatrists were involved.
No one was injured and no one else was in the property.
The teenager is currently being detained at a Garda Station in Co. Donegal and he is receiving a medical assessment.
