The Eir telecommunications service has been disrupted at Killybegs today following damage to telephone lines.
The accidental damage was caused to the network infrastructure between Mountcharles and Inver.
Eir have confirmed this evening that a repair crew are on-site repairing the damage.
There is no estimated time as to when the service will resume as Eir claim the damage is complicated.
