Two bridges about two miles apart on a road in north Leitrim are now closed to traffic, resulting in concern over the inconvenience being caused to people in the area.
Both bridges are in the Glenaniff area; one has been closed for more than two months, the second was closed yesterday because it’s unsafe.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott says it’s important work is done to ensure at least one of the bridges, possibly the one that’s closed for the past couple of months, is opened as soon as possible.
