Donegal TD Pearse Doherty will lead Sinn Féin’s efforts in forming a new government today.
The finance spokesperson will be joined by Louise O’Reilly, Matt Carthy and Eoin Ó Broin.
The Party are to hold talks on government formation with Solidarity-People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd later.
It comes as political parties come together to discuss their next move.
The Green Party met yesterday and is expected to do so again over the next few days – saying it will be talking to all parties.
The six Social Democrats TD’s are to hold talks later this morning.
Fianna Fáil is due to hold a parliamentary party meeting by the end of week, while Fine Gael isn’t expected to do so until next week.
