The second day of counting is continuing in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency.
With the morning counts coming thick and fast, Anne McCloskey (Aontú), Paul McWeeney (National Party) and Bernie O’Hara (Independent) have all been eliminated.
Marian Harkin (Ind) continues to lead the race for the second seat. After the fifth count, she had 7,570 votes with Fianna Fáil’s Mark MacSharry on 7,265.
