Donegal – Arthur McGuinness (Ind) and Niall McConnell (Ind) eliminated



Independents Arthur McGuinness and Niall McConnell are the first to be eliminated in the Donegal Constitueny.

McGuinness ended on 109 total votes and McConnell with 832 after the 3rd count.

The 2nd day of counting is now well under way since just after 10am this morning.

No other seats have been filled since last night when Sinn Fein’s Pearse Doherty and Padraig MacLochlainn were elected on the first count.
