Martin Kenny elected – tops the poll



Sinn Féin’s Martin Kenny has been re-elected on Count 1 in Sligo-Leitrim after topping the poll with 15,035 first preference votes.

He comfortably exceeded the quota of 12,137 and his surplus of 2,898 is now being distributed amongst the remaining candidates.

He spoke to Ocean FM’s Niall Delaney after his re-election:
