Leitrim suffered their first defeat in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League on Sunday when they were beaten by Cork on a final scoreline of 1-15 to 0-9.
Terry Hyland’s side were competitive for much of the game, but Ciaran Sheehán goal for the Rebel county shortly before the interval established a 1-7 to 0-3 advantage for the visitors – and Leitrim were unable to close this gap in a meaningful way in the second-half.
