Gardai in Sligo are warning about bogus telephone callers.
The callers pretend to be from companies such as Eir and Microsoft.
Gardai say they try to engage in conversation with people, the ultimate aim being to get their computer or financial details.
Gardai advise people not to engage with such callers and to hang up immediately.
