The local authority in Leitrim has been asked to conduct a review into the income limit criteria used to determine the eligibility for social housing allocations.
The calls were made at this month’s meeting of Leitrim County County Council by Sinn Fein Councillor Padraig Fallon.
Speaking to OceanFM news, Councillor Fallon says that with the number of applications not being successful, the entire scheme needs to be re-examined.
