A Sligo Independent Alliance councillor says she hopes a bus shelter programme for the county will be implemented in the coming year.
Cllr Marie Casserly said the council and the National Transport Authority are in the process of developing the programme.
She added that it is expected to finalise consideration of the first phase of locations for bus shelters early in the New Year.
