The tragic death in Australia of Ardara, Co Donegal native Mary Ellen Molloy has resulted in a dark cloud descending over her native area.
That’s according to family friend Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallager, who says her family is devastated after a freak accident claimed the life of the 26-year old last Friday afternoon.
She died when a tree fell on a car in which she was travelling in Melbourne, where she worked as a nurse.
Deputy Gallagher says efforts are now being made to repatriate her remains home.
