A Sligo/Leitrim TD says small and medium size businesses are struggling across the north west mainly due to rising insurance premiums.
Fianna Fail’s Eamon Scanlon says the government have consistently failed to address the problem.
He says that Minister for Finance, Paschal Donoghue, has not met with the insurance industry in the past 2 and a half years in relation to this.
