Sligo ranked 5th worst in country when it comes to the number of people waiting for a bed



67 people across the North West are waiting for a bed this morning at 2 main regional hospitals.

Sligo University Hospital has been ranked the 5th worst effected in the country today according to the INMO trolley watch firgures.

There are 34 people on trolleys or on chair waiting for a bed in Sligo this morning. 25 people are waiting in ED and 9 patients on wards across the hospital.

Letterkenny who is ranked 6th in the country today have 33 patients waiting for a bed this morning with 7 emergency department and 26 elsewhere in wards in the hospital.

In total there are 549 people across the country waiting on hospital beds with University Hospital Limerick having the highest figure in the Country with 55 patients.
