Long-time Sligo bingo volunteer, John Comiskey, has launched a stinging attack on the introduction of new legislation which it’s claimed will cap bingo prize money at 50% of the takings at a bingo event. He has described it as nothing but a tax on bingo players, and believes politicians will be punished on this by voters at the next election
