Two new signings for Sligo Rovers

Sligo Rovers have confirmed the signatures of two new midfielders for the 2020 season.

Darragh Noone joins from Shelbourne, while Garry Buckley comes to the Showgrounds from Cork City where the 26-year-old has spent most of his career to date, winning a league and an FAI Cup under former Cork manager Johnny Caulfield.

Buckley, who’s no relation to the Rovers manager, spoke with Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan about his decision to come to Sligo:

Noone, who’s 22, had previously played for Bray Wanderers before helping Shelbourne win promotion from the First Division last season.
