Hugh McKenna, Clooneen, Sligo Road, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim. removal this morning to St Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice or ISPCC Childline.

 

Brenda Duffy (nee Gunn), Creamery Road, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly Clogheen, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin. Reposing in Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote, from 4p.m. to 6:30p.m., with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote to arrive at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12p.m., with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Ballymote Church Altar Society.

 

Catherine (Kitty) Duggan, housekeeper, St Mary’s Presbytery, Temple Street, Sligo, and formerly of Roughan,, Sooey, Co. Sligo. Mass of Christian Burial this morning at 11.30am in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo.   Burial to follow in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.  Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu if desired to St John’s Hospital patient comfort fund, C/o of Seamus Feehily and Son funeral directors, Pearse Road, Sligo.

 

Mary Ellen McBrearty, nee Meehan, Dachtan, Kilcar, Co. Donegal. Reposing at her home. Removal on Thursday at 11.30am for funeral mass in St. Cartha Church, Kilcar at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilcar Cemetery.

 

Con Burke, 214 Castleview, Dunkineely, Co. Donegal. Remains reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, from 5pm until 9pm. Removal from there on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Joseph and St. Conal, Bruckless, for 11am funeral mass, with burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Donegal Hospice, C/o Gallagher Funeral Directors, Mountcharles, or any family member. House strictly private please.

 

 

Agnes O’Connor (née Lynch), Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formerly Ballyfarnon, and Derryherk, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. (In her 100th year). Peacefully at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Reposing at the home of her son David, Warren Drive, Boyle, this evening from 3.30 p.m. until 5.30 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, arriving 7p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to charity of your choice. House private please outside of reposing times.

 

 

 

Mary (known as Cissie) McGonigle, Corlea, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. At Sligo University Hospital. Remains will repose at the residence of her son John and  daughter-in-law Mary, Corlea, Ballyshannon, today from 12 noon to 10pm and on Thursday from 12 noon to 10pm .House private to family only on Friday morning. Funeral Mass on Friday in St. Patrick’s Church, Belleek at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery . Family flowers only; donations in lieu if desired to  the Sheil Hospital Patients Comfort Fund,  C/o any family member or Peter Carty Funeral Director, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh.

 

Sr. Veronica Keaney, Medical Missionaries of Mary, Drogheda and formerly from Ballindoon, Co. Sligo. Peacefully in Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, Drogheda. Funeral Mass at 12 noon in Medical Missionaries of Mary Convent on Thursday 21st November, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Drogheda.

 

 

 

Anniversary mass:

The 1st Anniversary Mass for Alfie McGloin, late of 12 Benbulben Terrace, Sligo will take place in St. Anne`s Church, Sligo, on Saturday 23rd November at 6:30pm.
